Questions people actually ask

Whatever the business actually needs, which is usually less exotic than people expect. A phone line that texts people back when you can't pick up. A website that doesn't look like it was built in 2011. An internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet somebody updates by hand every Friday. Sometimes it's a training session and no software at all.

There are ten real builds on my work page, each with a demo video. Treat that as proof I can build things, not as a menu — almost everything I do is custom.

I quote after we talk, and I don't publish prices. An AI receptionist can mean a two-week build or a two-day one depending on what your phone system already does, so a number on a webpage would be wrong in both directions.

The first call is free and takes fifteen minutes, and you'll leave it with a real number.

Small builds take days. Bigger ones take a few weeks. I'll tell you which one yours is on the first call, and if I think you don't need what you're asking for, I'll say so.

No, and teaching that is half the job. A lot of my work is showing teams how these tools actually behave: what they're good at, where they confidently make things up, and how to tell the difference.

You don't need to know how it works under the hood. You need to know what to ask it and when not to trust it.

Straight answer: I'm one person, and that's a real risk you're taking on. Anyone who tells you otherwise about a solo shop is selling something.

What I do about it is make sure nothing I build holds you hostage. You own the code, it's documented, and it runs on your accounts rather than mine. If I vanished, another developer could pick it up.

Once it's paid for in full, yes. I keep my own pre-existing tools and general know-how and reuse those across projects, but the thing built for you is yours. The specifics are in the terms.

Omaha is home and in person is how I prefer to work, so I'll come to you if you're in the metro. The work itself doesn't care where you are, though. If you're outside the area it's still worth a call.

It will, eventually. Anything I hand over gets reviewed by me first, and I build things so they say when they're unsure instead of inventing an answer.
